Loraine Ballard Morrill to host The Second Trauma premiere

We are delighted to report that Loraine Ballard Morrill will host the Philadelphia premiere screening of our new collaborative documentary — The Second Trauma — on April 17 at 7 p.m. at the Temple Performing Arts Center, including conversations with the cast and crew. In addition to her prominence in Philadelphia community radio, Loraine also participated in our Better Gun Violence Reporting Workshop in 2022 and our Gun Violence Prevention Reporting Certification Workshop last fall. Loraine Ballard Morrill is Director of News & Community Affairs For iHeartMedia’s six Philadelphia Stations. Loraine hosts and produces “Insight” and “What’s Going On.” Under her leadership Power 99 was the first station to receive a record breaking seven prestigious National Association of Broadcasters Crystal Radio Awards for Community Service and the first to receive the NAB Inaugural Crystal Heritage Award. iHeartMedia Philadelphia was recognized for the third year as one of Philadelphia Foundation’s Civic 50 Greater Philadelphia.
