The 3-day Gun Violence Prevention Reporting National Certification Conference brings together the best of our previous Better Gun Violence Reporting Summit and our local Certification Workshop. Through a series of interactive workshops and conversations, attendees will learn best practices for reporting on gun violence and prevention based on our first five years. Our work is community-informed, trauma-informed, data-informed, evidence-based, rigorous, authoritative and focused on solutions.
Please note that the Welcome Reception is at a separate location (The Hive at Spring Point – 30 S 15th St 4th Floor, Philadelphia, PA 19102). The main conference will be hosted at Convene City View (30 S 17th St, Philadelphia, PA 19103).
Attendance at all Thursday and Friday sessions required for certification.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided both days.
