Above: Our Director of Research Dr. Jessica Beard took part in a panel and then lead a breakout session during the recent Stoneleigh Foundation convening titled “Bridging the Divide: Interdisciplinary Approaches to Philadelphia’s Gun Violence Epidemic.” Dr. Beard’s session asked for “solutions for changing the gun violence narrative from inevitable to preventable” and produced a list of recommendations for reimagining the media.
