Prof. Yvonne Latty is the journalism education advisor at the Philadelphia Center for Gun Violence Reporting. She is also the director of the Logan Center for Urban Investigative Reporting at Temple University’s Klein College of Media and Communication.
Yvonne presented during our 2022 Better Gun Violence Reporting Workshop, hosted our 2023 Link Up and Credible Messenger Film Festival and has been working with our team on her upcoming documentary: The Second Trauma.
We have also collaborated on panels for the Klein News Innovation Camp, the Association of Health Care Journalists, The Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication and the Online News Association.
Yvonne partnered WHYY News to produce ‘Stop and Frisk: Revisit or Resist,’ which was honored with a national Edward R. Murrow Award.
